Hi BWB63,

It's much better if you write in english as the translator that you used hasn't worked well and the text is not easy to understand.

Complimets for the girl! ... ok, for the bike too ;)

Hi,

well, this is really funny to read even if from a strictly technical point of view I should admit that it is close to ununderstandable   ;).
Anyway, post it in English because according what is written at the end (bike characteristics), there are interesting things to learn.

Bye

:D Thanks, I changed it to English....I sure wish I knew how to make those translators work right. :P

[glow=red, 2, 300]promettono +16 CV...[/glow]

Qualcuno ci ha capito qualcosa?  :-[

Penso che +16 CV facciano gola anche a voi, no?  :-*
Vittorio67 - STRONCAMOTORI

Stefano80

WoW! You are right! I can’t understand the translator!

The XR680R does not break and it is fast!

Vittorio67

:-[ perchè il kit HRC costa molto meno? Quanto offre in CV?

Hi BWB63
first of all many thanks for joining us in the Forum.
You're very welcome.  :)
Effectively you're facing with a bunch of BRPs italian enthusiasts and even though our accent is not familiar enough, you should be already noticing for sure from the number of messages exchanged on daily basis how much high is the interest for the "XR matter" and relevant issues.
The report on your bike sounds very interesting and the performances you reached are really cool. Amazing ! :o
I think we're all curious to read the figures from your dyno that we hope you'll share with us asap.
Bear on mind that all these friends around here are mostly affascinated by tuning their BRP as a special one and if possible in getting the best overall.
However looking at the number of special parts you've installed and also the labor needed, I'm quite sure that a certain number of us is wondering how much approximately you spent for bringing your bike as it is now.
Anyway it's a pleasure to get in touch with an overseas BRP fanatic.

see you here again,  ;)

PS:  we've in common the Moriwaki exhaust

Hi BWB, 5000 USD for a new bike is a really good price.
Here in Italy the official price is around 8500 USD.

I would like to know if with 5000 USD you get a street legal bike and if the bike is omologated for two people.

Thanks,
Uncleroby

Not street legal and not made for two people...I made mine street legal so, if I cross the street I don't get a ticket.  I have another setup for racing...Different light. If you know the dealer and buy last years model it is a lot less money. Most pay $6400 OTD or more. Our XR650R is different then yours. No key, no back pegs, small worthless light.
Mine is setup for Desert Racing and Jumping.
I have videos here

Sorry I put the wrong link...it is to be pictures of how I put the fender on;  I fixed it. Thanx

I am not a great jumper....most here will not jump a XR650R 23 meters, That's the best I can do. On the CR250 we can get some air but, not what the pro riders do.....the most my friends get is 36 meters (110 feet) that's what the last video on my video page is.

Nice movies. But just that ?
Peace of cake.... A bunch of our enduro riders is really used  to perform this kind of climbs and jumps directly through the volcano burning top.
Do you know about the Etna volcano in Sicily ?
It's quite sad to remember but unfortunately no movie is available at this time because the camera-rider failed his last jump falling on the melting rock...
No way to save the movie (and the rider).

cheers
